Euastrum binale var. gutwinskii

The two circular greenish structures are pyrenoid bodies in which the storage substance starch is produced and deposited as a shell around them. The nucleus (visible as a pale disk) is located in the middle of the cell.

Sample from wetland Lauchseemoor, Fieberbrunn, Tyrol, Austria. Sampling date 06/2023. The image was built up using several photomicrographic frames with manual stacking technique. Images were taken using Zeiss Axioplan with Olympus OM-D M5 MKII.

Bei den beiden kreisförmigen grünlichen Gebilden handelt es sich um Pyrenoidkörper, in denen der Speicherstoff Stärke produziert und als Hülle abgeschieden wird. Der Zellkern (sichtbar als blasse Scheibe) befindet sich in der Mitte der Zelle.
