Cosmarium ochthodes

Dimension: Length 70–100 µm, width 50–72 µm.

Occurrence: As an adaptable species, it is widespread in moors, shore areas of lakes and ponds, and in meadow swamps. It can be distinguished from similar forms by its coarser cell wall ornamentation.
