Micrasterias crux-melitensis

Dimension: Length (85)–100–130–(165?) µm, width (80)–90–120–(155?) µm, L/W (1.05)–1.1–1.2–(1.25).

Occurrence: Widely distributed in slightly acidic to slightly alkaline waters, fens and wet meadows, it also occurs occasionally in the benthos and plankton of lakes and oxbow waters.
