Remark: Identification according to Lenzenweger (1997): Desmidiaceenflora von Österreich Vol 2.
A determination according to Coesel & Meesters (2023) Desmids of the Lowlands would lead to Staurastrum cristatum var. cuneatum T.Hinode 1967.
