Two images.

First:The chloroplasts of Netrium digitus have an axial core with radiating, notched ridges. The pyrenoids are located on the central axes of the two chloroplasts. This DOF image provides a synoptic view of the chloroplast ridges, the nucleus in the center of the cell and cytoplasmic vesicles (see also enlarged detail top left) on the inner cell wall surface (bright circular dots).
Second:Optical cross-section through the cell showing the axial cores of the chloroplasts with their ridges and the cell nucleus with its prominent nucleolus.
