First: | The picture clearly shows the thick gelatinous envelope and the banded chloroplast. |
Second: | Close-up. We can see the nucleus with its central nucleolus. The suspension of the nucleus with fine cytoplasmic filaments indicates that almost the whole cell is filled with a large vacuole. The parietal chloroplasts are also lying surrounded by cytoplasm. |
