Epipyxis tubulosa The lorica of the genus Epipyxis is not smooth but structured. In Epipyxis tubulosa this structure, however, is so fine that it appears unimposing in light microscopy. Scale bar indicates 10 µm.

Die Gehäuse der Gattung Epipyxis zeichnen sich an sich durch sichtbare Strukturierung aus. Bei Epipyxis tubulosa ist diese Strukturierung allerdings so fein, dass sie lichtmikroskopisch unscheinbar ist. Multiebenen-Abbildung, manuell gestapelt. Der Messbalken markiert eine Länge von 10 µm.
