Basionym: Euglypha dentata var. elongata Playfair, 1917

Add’l Synonyms: n.a.

Remarks:
a) The genus Tracheleuglypha is currently classified in Imbricatea incertae sedis (Siemensma, F. J., Microworld, world of amoeboid organisms. World-wide electronic publication, Kortenhoef, the Netherlands. Searched on July 27, 2024).

b) Full authorship: Tracheleuglypha elongata (Playfair, 1917) Thomas & Gauthier-Lièvre, 1959 (comb. nov.)
Playfair (1917) described Euglypha dentata var. elongata, Thomas & Gauthier-Lièvre (1959) transferred the taxon to Tracheleuglypha.
