Underwater photos taken with an Olympus Tough. The sponge branches in the first picture were about 3 cm long and about 5 mm thick at the base.

Some branches of the sponge were broken off and placed in a Petri dish filled with local water in the laboratory. After a few days, the loose sponge tissue had formed into a new sponge.
