Ascobius lentus in the hyponeuston. In a Petri dish, a folliculinid cell had mounted its lorica upside down on the surface membrane of the water. Apparently, the surface tension of the water was more attractive as an assembly platform than the Petri dish itself or the filamentous algae in the dish.
