Four images. The specimen was grown on a slide suspended in water.

First:	Optical cut through the lorica displaying the holdfast of the cell.
Second and third:	Further optical cuts through the lorica displaying the beaded macronucleus of the cell.
Fourth:	Complete lorica. Its irregular shape in some places is typical for the species.
